๐Ÿ“œ Our History
From Frustrated Gamer to Gaming Infrastructure - The F7R Story

๐Ÿš€ The F7R Journey

What started as frustration with unreliable hosted servers became a passion project, then a profession. With over 14,000 hours in Rust and years of learning the hard way, F7R grew from a nightmare hosting experience to professional self-built gaming infrastructure.

๐ŸŽฎ The Hosted Server Nightmare

It all started with a hosted server. Seemed like the easy option - pay someone else to handle the technical stuff, right? Wrong. The support was terrible, the server was constantly down, and I was extremely limited in what I could actually change or customize. After about 6 months to a year of frustration, I knew there had to be a better way.

Problems Along The Way

๐Ÿ”ฅ Building My Own Server

Fed up with hosted services, I decided to build my own server from old PC parts. Zero server experience, just determination. That DIY setup in the corner was rough - but it was mine. I could finally control everything. No more waiting on useless support tickets. No more unexplained downtime. Every problem was now my problem to solve, and I learned fast.

โšก Learning The Hard Way

No tutorials prepare you for real server hosting. Overheating hardware, network issues, corrupted saves, DDoS attacks, plugin conflicts - you name it, I dealt with it. Small budgets meant creative solutions. Every crash was a lesson. Every fix made the servers better. I started building custom plugins, designing unique maps, and developing tools to make management easier.

๐Ÿ† Proper Infrastructure

About 6 months ago, I added a dedicated server just for game servers. The old DIY build? Still running strong as my home server, handling websites and bots. Now I've got a complete Server Management System with stats tracking and ticket service integrated into our websites. From spare parts to a proper dual-server setup - one for games, one for everything else. 14,000+ hours of Rust experience went into building something I'm actually proud of.
